Artist Bio:
April Herz

     Based in Andover, Massachusetts USA

April Herz attended Endicott College where she studied Art Therapy with a minor in Business. April is a visual artist that hopes to help others in the future with her knowledge of the arts and psychology.

     Her work has been exhibited in the Endicott Student Exhibition (spring of January 2016 & 2017), the Endicott Art Therapy Exhibition (fall of 2016 & 2018), and The Open Studio Exhibition (spring of 2016-2019). In the fall of 2017, she ventured off to Italy and attended Florence University of the Arts for a semester. Her artwork was a part of the school’s visual art show, 1968: Where Have All the Flowers Gone? (December 2017 - January 2018).

     She has had experience working with groups at Liberty ARC in Amsterdam, NY where she guided classroom activities and aided in assisting adults with disabilities. She has been able to intern at the Connecticut Juvenile Training School, in Middletown, CT. Here she promoted independence and proper behavior through the visual arts process. In her fall semester of senior year (2017) April completed a semester-long internship at the Solstice Day School in Rowley, MA.
